"Eleanor's Best Quilt Show"

This year's featured quilter will be renowned quilter,
author, and teacher Eleanor Burns. Thirty years ago Eleanor Burns introduced her first Quilt in a Day book, cultivating a quiltmaking revolution. She presented her unique style, a diverse combination of cutting and sewing applications, creating new techniques altogether. Even though Quilt in a Day is a quarter of a century old, it is so very contemporary. Through TV shows, books and web site, Eleanor continues to uniquely inspire thousands of quiltmakers worldwide everyday. Her concise, step-by-step directions are easy to grasp, allowing the possibility for anyone to be successful at making a quilt. We will feature three of her trunk collections: "Best of Show," "Still Stripping" and "Egg Money Quilts" at our show, with a total of 13 of her quilts on display.

DOOR PRIZES for the show have been donated by the following companies: C & T Publishing, Inc., P & B Textiles, Coats & and Clark, Quilt Country, Fons & Porter Magazine, Quilt Smart, Gorges Quilt Labels, The Warm Company, June Tailor, and Thread Art
